New Research Center Created to Focus on Distance Ed

A company called “eLearners.com," a division of EducationDynamics, has created an eLearners' Research Center to track data on online education, distance learning and adult students. The Research Center will enable viewers to search for information by topic and source.

"It's hard to keep your finger on the pulse of the latest research, with new studies released frequently…,” said Helen MacDermott, content director, eLearners.com.

The eLearners' Research Center will include info on accreditation, quality issues, tuition and financial aid. The research will stem from such organizations as the Council on Higher Education Accreditation, Eduventures, U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Department of Education and the Sloan Consortium.

To obtain the latest research, readers can join the eLearners.com Twitter feed. The Twitter ID is eLearners.
