Union C. Has New Master's Degree in Psychology and Chemical Dependence Certificate Online.

Union C. in Kentucky announced recently that its masters of arts in psychology degree and chemical dependency counselor certificate were made into entirely online degrees. The school’s large number of non-traditional students, and the growth in online enrollment over traditional enrollment led Union to make the degrees more accessible.

“Both the master’s in psychology and the chemical dependency certificate program are fully online,” said Jerry Jackson, dean of enrollment management. “Our first students have had great success with their board exams and licensure process, which speaks to the quality of our online programs.”

The 36 credit-hour master’s in psychology will help more students increase their knowledge of psychology. In addition, the chemical dependency counselor certificate requires 21 hours, where students will learn how to help those with chemical dependencies to break their addiction through academic knowledge and practical training.
